Arch-Tempered Kulve Taroth And Nergigante, More Coming To Monster Hunter

A collaboration between Monster Hunter: World and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been announced with players soon able to play as Geralt of Rivia in Capcom's game. The There's no word on when that collaboration will become available, but it looks like 2019 is shaping up to be a good year for Monster Hunters.

Doug Cockle is providing Geralt's English voice again, recording new lines for this, and Geralt will have native voices in other localisations too.

Arch-Tempered Kulve Taroth And Nergigante, More Coming To Monster Hunter

Kulve Taroth, the monster that previously appeared in limited-time events is coming back as a new Arch-Tempered form. This time the monster will be an Arch Tempered version, offering even better rewards. The Appreciation Fest will also be coming up on the anniversary of the game's release in January 2019.

While his pal Ciri has visited the world of Cyberpunk (not that she'll be in that game), going to another world to hunt monsters is a bit of a busman's holiday for Geralt.

It'll include fan-favorite features from the seasonal events, including a decorated Gathering Hub and special equipment that you can get from new quests. The game's getting a trial version that lets you play through the early quests, giving you a decent feel for the title as a whole. In addition, any saved progress transfers over to the main game, so new players are encouraged to start their hunting journey.

In the new collaboration, The Witcher's Geralt will take on a new contract. As part of the Guild's Research Commission, players must embark on a grand journey to this massive, mysterious land and uncover the secrets behind this phenomenon.
