Jessica, who runs the website News Not Noise, posted Amy's voting recommendations for the upcoming midterm elections on her story, which included the actress's personal announcement at the very end.

Schumer enlisted her friend Jessica Yellin at News Not Noise to help get the word out. At the bottom of the list was a note from Schumer saying "I'm pregnant".

In the caption, Schumer linked to the profile of political reporter Jessica Yellin, and promised "exciting news" ahead.

Amy announced the news in a rather unusual way.

Schumer first hinted at the news with a picture of her husband Chris Fischer and herself edited onto an image of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan.

Pregnancy speculation swirled after their quick nuptials, which Schumer quickly denied at the time - while promoting Everytown for Gun Safety.

The 37-year-old comic married Chris Fischer, a chef, in February this year. "Follow her and VOTE!"

'I am not pregnant, I am. not pregnant, um, I'm sorry - my hands, friends said my hands were near, it looked like I was pointing to a bump or something but I am not'.

"She agreed to post a lil noise today for me!" I was crying when I wrote them, but his blew me out of the water so hard, ' she said.

Schumer is known for her liberal politics: She was recently arrested protesting the confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the US Supreme Court.
