Mumbai-based electronics retailer Mahesh Telecom made the announcement on Twitter, revealing the new price for the smartphone.

The MySmartPrice article includes some screenshots from the Pixel 3 and Pixel Tips video, but again this isn't really new information, though the video is worth a watch. That translates into an nearly 40 percent drop from its official launch price of Rs. 73,000 announced back in November past year. In fact, the Pixel 2 is listed for Rs 48,000 on Amazon.in and Flipkart, which means the Pixel 2 XL is retailing at an even cheaper rate. The Google Pixel 2 XL has just received a major price cut, and while Google has not yet said anything about it, we know a prominent retailer who has confirmed the development and is known to be among the first to report price drops. Initially, it was stated that you needed a Pixel 2 with Android 9 Pie to get these to work. Both smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM.

Google's leaked marketing video doesn't show anything that hasn't already been speculated about, but it does confirm a lot of that conjecture.

Videos have emerged of the larger phone being unboxed and used - Pixel 3 XL was shown touting a fresh design with a notch at the top of its display.

In terms of optics, the Google Pixel 2 XL sports a single rear camera with a 12.2-megapixel sensor that features f/1.8 aperture and OIS/ EIS. On the other hand, the Pixel 3 XL has the slim side bezels along with a chin along the bottom to house a front-facing speaker.

A final point is that the YouTube channel says the display is an improvement over the one on the Google Pixel 2 XL.
