This Saturday will mark Meghan's 37th birthday, and her first as an official member of the British monarchy. Samantha Markle, who has also been a harsh critic of Meghan's apparent "distance" from her family, wrote to Chrissy on Twitter calling her a "pudgy airhead" who needs to "respect" Meghan and Samantha's father.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding was certainly the event of the year. Critics have been quick top point out that while Meghan has apparently not been in touch with her father since the royal wedding, Thomas' angry rantings, can't be doing much help.

"I'm really hurt that she's cut me off completely", he said.

Thomas Markle ruffled plenty of feathers with a TV interview in June.

In Thomas Markle's latest interview with the Mail on Sunday the 74-year-old claimed he has been cut off from his daughter and said: "I used to have a phone number and text number for her personal aides at the Palace, but after I said a few critical words about the Royal Family changing Meghan, they cut me off".

When asked of his son-in-law Harry, Markle says, "I don't care if Harry never speaks to me again, I'll survive". With the new Duchess of Sussex's "at her wit's end" over her father embarrassing her at seemingly every opportunity, who can Meghan turn to for support?

Meghan's date of birth holds special importance for the Royal family. The source said, "Kate's made a real effort to be kind to Meghan and to include her". "She loves Harry, but when it comes to life as a royal, she's lately been asking herself, 'How will I get through this?'"

He lamented not being able to meet a future grandchild and believes that Meghan would prefer if he died because she would gain public sympathy. "I could die tomorrow", he mused. Host Georgie Gardner was seen reading out a thank you letter from the Palace after sending the royal couple a wedding present (a picnic blanket with Australian landscapes, in case you were wondering) when she noticed the cypher. He reveals that our Queen manages to stay in shape (hey - I hope I look that good when I'm 92) by staying well away from pasta, potatoes and rice.

Markle maintains the royals blacklisted him after he talked about Prince Harry's political views.
