Thousands of people lined the palace approach in central London, to watch a ceremony hosted by the Queen and culminating in the historic flypast of bombers, old and new, along with spy planes, helicopters and transporters.

Well, that certainly seems to have been the case when Harry and Meghan popped over to Dublin for the Royal Visit to Ireland and got treated to an inordinate amount of bottled water.

Meghan wore a long-sleeved, full-skirted black Dior dress with a bateau neckline, topped off with a Stephen Jones fascinator.

He added: "The boat neck and cut is reminiscent of the wedding gown so it's a silhouette she knows wows".

In Meghan Markle's royal world, quashing any rumoured issue translates to wearing a dress by the designer you are alleged to have issue with, proving there's no substance to any of those rumours.

The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and other members of the Royal Family and the public will witness the historic flypast at 1pm.

Also in attendance were Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, Princess Anne, and Prince Michael of Kent.

After a quick glance, the Duchess of Cambridge responds by breaking into a beaming smile.

"It's a sophisticated update on the look, ideal for such a formal occasion".

Well-connected Meghan has a close bond with the French designer and, as well as choosing his glamorous designs for red carpet appearances, Meghan has given him a string of social media shout-outs.

The Queen's speech wasn't the only event to celebrate the Centenary, with a service at Westminster Abbey kicking off the day and remembering all the RAF achievements over the past 100 years.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry's brother wore his traditional uniform as he attended the service to mark 100 years of the RAF.

Today, the RAF is engaged on some 13 missions across 26 countries and is heavily committed on operations both at home and overseas.

Have you or someone you love ever been part of the Royal Air Force?

Prince William's blunder comes after his brother, Prince Harry, made a similar faux pas at the Commonwealth Youth Reception last week, when he and Meghan appeared to enjoy a private joke.
