Patriots QB Tom Brady still hasn't committed to playing in 2018 season

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has not committed to playing in 2018 at the age of 41, although there is no indication that he is ready to retire.

The sources said they believe he will play but can not be certain absent word from Brady either publicly or privately. "However, having said that, we're dealing with a human being".

"The lack of any official word from Brady, either privately or publicly, has left some to admit that, while they do believe he will play in 2018, they can not say that for sure".

However, some of Brady's personal life was peeled back in the recent "Tom vs".

Earlier this month, ESPN reported sources close to the player hinted Gronkowski was "pretty certain" he would come back-as long as Brady remains with the team.

Missing part of offseason training is not unusual for Brady, who did exactly the same thing for three consecutive years from 2008.

Either way, the Patriots are expected to draft Brady's eventual (or immediate) successor in next week's draft.

Brady was not present for the start of the Patriots' offseason program as he went off to Qatar to do charity work.

The Patriots have two first- and two second-round picks in the upcoming NFL Draft. While it's possible he is still deciding if he wants to play in 2018, Jeff Howe of The Athletic reports that Gronkowski's refusal to commit is "about the money".

Guerrero has also worked with current Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman and former New England pass rusher Willie McGinest.
