The album marks her first since joining Capitol Records Nashville.

"Cry Pretty" has already topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in 12 countries and quickly racked up over 1.3 million streams in the USA with only two days of reporting. "I went to catch myself and just missed a step". Underwood says had she fallen anywhere else in her house, she would have been fine.

"It was one step that messed everything up". Trying to stop herself from causing any severe damage, Underwood ended up catching herself in the wrong way and broke her wrist in the process.

Country music songbird Carrie Underwood graced The Bobby Bones Show this morning and dished about the fall that resulted in multiple injuries.

On the same day, Carrie dropped by SiriusXM for her appearance on Highway's "Storme Warren Show", where she admitted that she was "nervous" about her ACM performance. The Grammy-award winning artist had only recently shared images of her and her band rehearsing, teasing her upcoming performance in Las Vegas following months of rest after an accident at her home.

Underwood had warned fans after the fall that when they saw her next should would "not quite [look] the same". But I was at a point where I didn't know how things were going to end up. "I didn't know what it was going to heal like". "But I just kinda felt like it was my time to take some ownership and kinda be there for the grind in it". "I was like, "Okay, somebody's going to creep on me at the grocery store.' And you know people are going to be like, 'What happened" when they post it on Instagram".

Underwood emerged from the promise of her 2005 "American Idol" win to become a true multiformat, multimedia superstar, spanning achievements in music, television and film.

Carrie Underwood has announced on Twitter that her sixth studio album will be titled Cry Pretty after her lead single of the same name and will be released on September 14. "I'm okay talking about it", she tells Bones.
