Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has highlighted ex-Chelsea players Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah, among the best in the Premier League, Sky Sports reports.

And Chelsea FC star Hazard has admitted that those three players are the ones now leading the way in the Premier League this season - in his opinion at least.

"I think there are three (best players in the Premier League) - Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane " Eden Hazard will be hopeful Kevin De Bruyne can continue his form going into the World Cup this summer in Russian Federation.

"I think there are three (best players in the Premier League) - Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane", Hazard added.

"At the end there will be one victor, there are a few good players around".

"I voted for Kevin De Bruyne", Hazard revealed. He is the best. He defends, crosses the ball, assists and scores goals in big games. "So when they put Hazard up front on his own, I was a wee bit disappointed because I didn't know if that was a good idea and it clearly wasn't working at all" said Pat.

Hazard, 27, is Chelsea's top scorer in the league this season with 11 strikes and three assists in 25 appearances. Have your say in the comments section below. Every time he has the ball at his feet he can do something magic.

Chelsea are 22 points behind City ahead of Sunday's league clash at the Etihad.

Hazard won the award in 2015 but lost to his Chelsea mate N'Golo Kante last season.

'He doesn't score a lot of goals but he can create something with just one movement or pass.

The pair have dominated the scoring charts all season and now both sit on 24 goals each - although Sergio Aguero isn't too far behind on 21.

Hazard comes from a somewhat unique position as someone who has played with two of the three contenders, being an global teammate of De Bruyne and playing alongside Salah during the Egyptian's brief time with Chelsea.

De Bruyne in action for City. "If you get it in the end, but first is the title and then maybe something like that. If they speak about you positively it is always nice".
