A completely redesigned wallpaper unique to this edition further enhances the user experience. The phone is priced at Rs. 37,999 - the same price as the regular 8GB RAM variant of the smartphone. This variant will only be available with 8GB RAM+128GB storage configuration.

The OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition has officially made its way to India after making its debut in China back in November 2017. But unlike the Star Wars Limited Edition of the OnePlus 5T, the Lava Red variant costs as much as the standard Midnight Black variant.

OnePlus says, "Inspired by the dynamic nature of lava with colors that change under different types of light, the radiant Lava Red color shade is achieved through an accurate combination of temperature, consistency and baking time with less than 0.01% variation". As has always been with special colour options, all specifications remain exactly the same as the original 5T. The glossy crimson look was obtained through a mix of double blasting, AF coating, and two anodic oxidation processes. The screen is also protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which helps you to prevent damages caused to the screen.

OnePlus 5T runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with company's OxygenOS on top; it will soon be getting Android 8.0 Oreo update. Rest of the specifications of the new variant of the phone remains same which include a 6.01-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Building on that momentum, OnePlus this week brought OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition to India.

The rear side features a primary camera of 16MP coupled with a secondary camera sensor of 20MP capacity. The smartphone is backed by a 3300mAh battery that supports OnePlus' proprietary Dash Charging technology. The OnePlus 5T will come with a dual-nano SIM slot too.
