However, none of the EPL rivals are willing to back off, and Real Madrid could retrieve a majority of €100 million they invested in Bale back in 2013.

Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid will soon submit an official proposal for Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, according to the chairman of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA).

"Salah is now looking to improve his game".

The 21-year-old Tottenham star is widely regarded as one of the best young players in world football, after bursting onto the scene two years ago following his switch from League One outfit MK Dons.

"Real Madrid will make an offer for Salah during the summer", said Abou-Rida in a televised interview.

"The Spanish club will make a big, big offer in summer and Salah is now looking to improve his game, so it would make sense".

The capture of Alexis Sanchez has further impressed Bale, who thinks that United are in the position to not only challenge for the Champions League this season but also push for the Premier League next term to boot.

Salah has always been a tremendous athlete with superb long speed and short-area quickness, but he became a far more intelligent player in Italy and now boasts a versatile skill set.

Having had a blistering season in Switzerland with Basel, Salah moved to Chelsea in 2014 but failed to impress during his time at Stamford Bridge.

"I'm not saying that they're going to sign him, I'm just saying that his agent - Ramy Abbas Issa - has been at the Bernabeu".

Perhaps it's now time to add Salah to that list.
