If you had your money on a March release then you might just be buying dinner for all of us, as the release date suggests God of War will launch on the 22nd March 2018. Previously, this game was set to release in "early 2018" but thanks to the North American PSN store, we now have a more specific date. It's also strengthened by the fact that the art book is listed on Amazon on March 15th, signifying that the game's release date would be around this date. According to the product page of the PlayStation Store, the title will arrive on March 22, 2018. I'd nearly bank on it being in the last week of March.

It looks to be a very legitimate listing, but until we get official confirmation from Sony, take it with a grain of salt.

God of War was announced at E3 2016 and follows Kratos on a new adventure into Norse mythology, whereas previous games in the action series have been inspired by Greek mythology. One of those (if not the biggest) is Sony's God of War - the fifth instalment in the long-running franchise that is looking to act as a soft-reboot of sorts. At the moment, nothing is confirmed, so we'll have to keep waiting. A collection of the first two titles was released in 2014 for PS Vita, with a remaster of God of War 3 following for PS4 a year later.
