DeShaun Watson rushed for the game's only touchdown as Houston claimed their first win of the National Football League season with a 13-9 victory at the winless Cincinnati Bengals. Ross, 21, missed the Bengals' season-opening 20-0 loss to the Baltimore Ravens after spraining his knee in the preseason finale on August 31.

The Cincinnati Bengals host the Houston Texans on Thursday night in Paul Brown Stadium (8:25 p.m. ET, NFL Network), and there will be no shortage of drama for this week's game.

Texans at Bengals was a game controlled by defense.

The Texans moved up in the first round of the 2017 nfl draft to select Watson. Watson made sure he got the ball to Hopkins when the game was on the line and Hopkins took over late in the game.

The Texans were down to three wide receivers and one tight end for their matchup with the Bengals.

It will certainly help the Texans that they don't have to play another game for 10 days. Especially considering that both of the Texans' starting cornerbacks were injured against the Bengals, as well.

Watson earned the start after passing for 102 yards with a TD and an interception after taking over for Tom Savage in the second half of last week's loss to Jacksonville.

Watson led a 13-play drive that set up Ka'imi Fairbairn's 42-yard field goal with 1:56 left. Who knows, this may be another season where the Texans make the playoffs without anything impressive behind center.

The Bengals' offensive line struggles are a huge concern coming into a game against the Texans' front seven, but Houston's offensive line is a mess as well. Johnathan Joseph hurt his right shoulder while making a tackle in the first half and didn't return.

Andy Dalton 20/35 224 yards. D'Onta Foreman rushed for 40 yards on 12 carries.

"It was really great until the last three plays, and then I was literally adjusting it and feeling it as I was running around and trying to chase that guy on the last play", Watt said. Houston Texans?on Thursday night, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson. Johnson was impressive, finishing with 52 total tackles, one interception and nine pass defenses. "My receivers and everyone that was downfield did a good job of blocking for me". He's in the NFL's concussion protocol and has been suspended 10 games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

The downside to this early season action is exposing Watson before he is ready to shoulder the responsibility. Their next game is on September 24th against the New England Patriots.
