Caitlyn Jenner doesn't support Donald Trump anymore and says her "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) head gear on Thursday was a mistake. The Olympic gold medalist revealed to TMZ that she did not sport the "MAGA" cap as a show of support for Trump. Still, Caitlyn told TMZ she knows she messed up, is very sorry, and "will never do it again".

According to TMZ, Jenner was on her way to play some golf and wanted to bring a baseball cap to protect her hairdo while driving in her convertible.

Once at the club she removed the hat, threw it on the floor of the auto then went and hit a few golf balls.

Jenner - a longtime Republican who spoke out last week against president Donald Trump's ban against transgender individuals serving in the military - had many questioning what side of the political fence she is on.

I apologize to all of the trans community. "I made a mistake".

In a statement to TMZ, Caitlyn claims that she was going golfing, and needed a hat to keep her hair in place on the drive to/from her club.

As for what to do with the hat, she's thinking of signing it and auctioning it off and giving the proceeds to a transgender cause.

On the way home, wearing her MAGA hat, she realized she forgot her purse at Starbucks. Before leaving home, she rummaged through the 10 hats in her closet and grabbed one without looking at the stitching.

Once back inside the sports auto with her coffee, she again put the Trump hat back on and got halfway home when she realized she left her purse at the coffeehouse.

Barnett went on to question whether the years Jenner spent as a "rich white man" were "trumping" her time as a transgender woman.

"There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the USA military fighting for all of us". Jenner posted on Twitter in response to a tweet from Trump. That would disrupt core military missions around the world and needlessly endanger our troops.

"America's 15,000 trans service members and 134,000 veterans are much braver than you, Mr. Trump; my allegiance is with them and our country, not you".
