Starr revealed the full-length Give More Love is set to arrive September 15 via uME. The drummer was asked what he wanted for his birthday in 2008 and he replied "more peace and love, that is something you can't have too much of".

In support of "Give More Love", Starr and his All-Starr Band will embark on a fall tour that includes an eight-night residency at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood. It has now been revealed that the session resulted in "We're On the Road Again", which also features Edgar Winter and Steve Lukather. It's a new solo album entitled "Give More Love" and it's coming this Fall, with a number of different musical legends having worked on it in the studio.

To mark Starr's 77th birthday, the drummer's Facebook page has been posting live videos of fan celebrations throughout the world, including at Abbey Road Studios and Los Angeles' Capitol Records building. That song is dedicated to Starr's wife, Barbara Bach. With the album announcement, he has also shared the title track.

Ringo Starr will be joined by his All-Starr Band for a U.S. tour later this year, including an eight night resident at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas from October 13th to 28th. "I said to Nathan East there are two bass players in this world and you're the other". I just love him but I love the way he plays.

"There is a lot of trouble in the world, a lot of violence in the world and a lot of starvation and a lot of people without water", Starr said.

All four Beatles have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame both as part of the band and as solo artists.
