As you can see in the video above, Ashly Burch gets some airtime, who was Chloe's voice actress in Life is Strange's first season, but acted as a writing consultant for Before the Storm. Players will take on the role of a rebellious 16 year-old Chloe Price who forms an unlikely friendship with Rachel Amber; a handsome and popular girl destined for success. She also shares her thoughts on Chloe and her relationship with Rachel, alongside lead writer Zak Garriss in the video below. It was revealed soon after the announcement that this was due to the SAG-AFTRA voice-actor strike. Something this new video hopes to make abundantly clear to fans of the series, in the hope alleviating any fears they may have. A new behind-the-scenes video shows us more about Chloe Price, what motivates her, and the people behind the game. However, developer Deck Nine is filling in the blanks Dontnod left behind, and playing from Chloe's perspective should give us some great insight on exactly who she is under the veneer of anger and disdain for society.

Seeing a chunk of Before the Storm gameplay at E3 convinced us this new Life is unusual prequel had a great shot at living up to its predecessor, despite the change of voice. It was our game of the year in 2015.

The first of three episodes of Life is Strange: Before the Storm is entitled "Awake" and will release on 31st August 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam).
