Jaguar E-Pace unveiled in style: does 270-degree barrel roll

Jaguar is also promising the very latest connectivity for E-Pace owners.

The E-Pace was unveiled during a large-scale event in London's Excel exhibition centre, which included stunt driver Terry Grant setting with a record 15.3 metre, 270-degree barrel roll in the vehicle.

Second member in the Jaguar's Pace family - the Jaguar E-Pace has officially been revealed.

To put it in perspective, Terry Grant experienced an intense 5.5Gs of gravitational pull during the stunt.

"As far as I am aware no production auto has ever cleanly completed a bona-fide barrel roll and therefore it has always been an ambition of mine to perform one ever since I was a boy, " said Grant, who also drove the Jaguar F-Pace in a record-breaking loop-the-loop in 2015.

Well, the nail-biting Barrel Role fete by Jaguar E-Pace has been awarded one of the greatest accolades "The Guinness Book Record" but the launch of Jaguar E-Pace has proved the car's mettle in the segment.

The new vehicle is a smaller version of the company's F-Pace and JLR is hoping it will allow it to better compete with the likes of BMW and Mercedes. For the non-First Edition models, you'll pay £50,710 for the P300 R-Dynamic HSE.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched its latest vehicle, the E-Pace, as part of its bid to sell one million cars a year by 2020.

Jaguar E-Pace supports a 4G wifi hotspot and it can easily support up to eight devices.

With a starting price of 28, 500 in United Kingdom the Jaguar E-Pace is expected to be introduced in the Indian market with a larger price tag which may be above Rs. 24 lakh.

According to the website, Irish customers can choose three trims along with the entry model, which is coming with alloy wheels, LED lights, climate control, 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system, parking sensors, lane assist and rear camera.

These range from the 110kW diesel to the 221kW petrol.
