Family-style meals are coming to Chick-fil-A.

Three of the company's locations in the US will soon be offering a family meal option that consists of one entree, two sides and eight mini rolls.

The sides include traditional options, as well as bacon baked beans, mac and cheese and a side salad.

"We heard that for a lot of people who are in charge of planning dinner, it's really not that enjoyable", Abercrombie told Business Insider.

Unfortunately, for the time being, the Family Style Meals will only be available in Greensboro, N.C., Phoenix, and San Antonio, but the brand is planning on bringing the options nationwide if they are a hit with customers. Thirty-six percent of Chick-fil-A dinner customers take their meal to go from restaurants to eat at home.

Abercrombie also told Business Insider that dinner is now the least busy meal at Chick-fil-A restaurants.

These family-style meals start at $29.99.

Entrees you can choose from include 12 chicken strips, four chicken breasts (grilled or fried) or 30 chicken nuggets. That's because they're new; Chick-fil-A is also testing these two items at the three selected cities for this experiment. Don't recall the baked beans or the mac and cheese from the current menu? "The Mac & Cheese side is a classic macaroni and cheese recipe featuring a special blend of cheeses including Cheddar, Parmesan, and Romano".

One of the country's most popular fast food restaurant chains is expanding its menu.
