Arsenal have moved swiftly in the summer transfer market to secure deals for Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette but Arsene Wenger's work is not yet done, as he eyes further recruits.

Arsenal are reportedly willing to sell Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City for a colossal £80 million as the Chilean has only a year left on his contract.

Arsenal are preparing a third "huge" offer for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar, after failing with £30m and £40m bids.

Leicester City attacking midfielder Riyad Mahrez "has his heart set on a transfer to Arsenal this summer" according to Sport Review.

In fact, The Sun's Warren Haughton recently said Lemar's agents have even agreed terms with the Gunners, but he also pointed out Monaco are reluctant sellers.

Cross isn't the only one reporting talks have occurred between Lemar's people and Arsenal.

Wenger is said to be convinced that Lemar could combine well with Lacazette, and L'Equipe say the two men get on very well.

Walcott struggled to force his way into Arsene Wenger's side last season, and that job looks set to become more hard in the new campaign following reports that Lemar is closing in on a switch to the Emirates Stadium. We have to be professional with him but, more importantly, he has to be committed and I think he has to show supporters, staff and players that. As a site that prides itself on thinking critically and trying to get to the bottom of things, rather than just shouting louder than everyone else, this presents us a conundrum.

"I think the fight with top clubs in Europe will be tough and the competition will be very high though".
