"Wonder Woman" was directed by Patty Jenkins and had its screenplay done by MI native Geoff Johns and Allan Heinberg. Patty Jenkins was already reflecting on where she'll send our hero in future adventures when she spoke with them in April, saying, "The story will take place in the U.S., which I think is right", she said.

Entertainment Weekly reported the news of the 31-year-old actress reshooting scenes while pregnant with her second child in late April.

Wonder Woman reached the top spot in the United Kingdom box office after its first week of release and is available in cinemas across the United Kingdom now.

And Gal struck up an instant friendship with the actress during their first encounter in New York City past year, when the superhero character was made a United Nations Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls. As for the leading role, many feared that an actress - Gal Gadot in this case - would not be able to offer a supercharged performance capable of keeping an audience glued to their seats for two-and-a-half-hours.
