The movie stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kirti Kulhari and Tota Roy Chowdhury.

Madhur Bhandarkar said he made "Indu Sarkar" as it was important to tell about the emergency to the today's generation. The trailer of the movie surfaced in the week that passed and it has been raking in a lot of praise, mostly for Neil Nitin Mukesh's apt avatar as Sanjay Gandhi. Supriya Vinod will be playing former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi in the film. It is yet to be seen how audiences react to this film. The three-minute trailer, which starts with the announcement of Emergency across the nation, captures the struggle of people and violence during the 21-month long period (1975-1977).

"Indu Sarkar" is Madhur Bhandarkar's next outing after 'Calendar Girls, ' which tanked miserably at the Box Office. The Johnny Gaddaar actor looks convincing in the trailer as Indira Gandhi's eldest son who wrecked havoc during the most disturbing period of independent India. The primary focus is on Kirti Kulhari's character who plays the role of a stammering woman who joined rebel forces to take on government's autocratic ways.

Peppered with seemingly realistic shots from that era, the trailer manages to translate the sense of chaos that one would have felt at the time onto the screen brilliantly. As we discussed above that some controversies will be invoked through this movie, what is that exactly.

The poster looks picture ideal in a black and white look, Kirti Kulhari character which dominates the poster is highlighted in red to look more catchy.

As this project is showing affiliation to another party, we cannot be sure how much impartial the movie will be.

Watch the trailer of the movie below! Well, the whole mystery will be apparent once the movie releases. "Trailer out on 16th June, film releases on 28 July 2017".
