We don't yet know how these three characters will interact with Castle Rock's eventual plot (which we know virtually nothing about so far), but this is a fantastic cast.

Sissy Spacek and Jane Levy are to star in "Castle Rock", a psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Hulu announced. The show will come from Bad Robot Productions and J.J. Abrams will produce. And soon, she'll have a lot more to scream about as one of the leading players in Castle Rock, the upcoming drama series based on the works of Stephen King.

Per Deadline, Lynskey will take up the main female lead role alongside Holland for Castle Rock.

She will play a realtor with a rare medical condition. Holland is playing a death row attorney named Henry. The fictional ME locale is featured in many of King's stories.

Spacek is set to play Henry's alienated adoptive mother, Ruth Deaver, a retired professor with gradually vanishing memories of the town's decidedly unsettling past. The Hulu original promises to explore the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.

Along for the ride will be actress Jane Levy (Don't Breathe, Suburgatory) as "Jackie, a morbid, death-obsessed girl who's appointed herself the historian of Castle Rock". Together they're bound to make Castle Rock, whatever it becomes, into something special.
