Gal Gadot and the whole team behind Wonder Woman absolutely destroyed the box office this weekend.

She also loved the new movie starring actress Gal Gadot.

"Wonder Woman" also acted as a shot in the arm to Warner Bros.' critically beleaguered DC superhero brand - which includes three panned blockbusters, 2013's "Man of Steel", 2016's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and 2016's "Suicide Squad" - as well as a sluggish summer movie season that was down almost 9% from past year going into the weekend.

Globally, Wonder Woman raked in over $US250 million ($330 million) since opening on June 2, easily recuperating the picture's $US200 million ($265 million) outlay.

The ban is in accordance with a decades-old law that boycotts Israeli products and bars Lebanese citizens from travelling to Israel or having contacts with Israelis. Directed by Patty Jenkins, the film delivers a masterpiece with its epic fight scenes and Gal Gadot's stunning performance as the female super hero. There were reports going around saying she was.

"Wonder Woman", in its purest form, is an origin story. This rejection of a sexist society that the original authors wrote into the comics set the stage for the Wonder Woman that we are seeing today in 2017. "I consider myself a Wonder Woman superfan".

Although Jenkins said she felt no obligation to return to the franchise as the director for the sequel, she would love to be involved in the "beautiful story".

So what we'd like to see is Patty Jenkins getting the same treatment.

The appropriate representation went even further, as Brave Rock had told reporters previously that he was permitted by Jenkins to choose what he wore as she fully respected the need for proper regalia and clothing. However, don't get out your torches and pitchforks just yet, because she'll be negotiating a deal to direct very soon.

Wonder Woman has raked in $103 million in the United States on the opening weekend.

"I just wanted to take a moment and thank you", Gadot starts out in the video.
