Death of the Outsider puts you in control of assassin Billie Lurk as she tries to rescue her missing mentor, Daud.

During Bethesda's E3 presentation, the publisher announced that Arkane Studios is now working on a standalone entry in the Dishonored series titled Dishonored: Death of the Outsider.

We don't know exactly how large this expansion, called "Death of the Outsider", will be.

So when you beat Dishonored 2 - both times over, no less - you probably thought that was the end of the story. Bethesda confirmed a brand new Dishonored game at their E3 show today, coming later this year.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is scheduled to release on September 9, 2017, presumably for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In many ways, Dishonored 2 was one of 2016's bigger disappointments, despite a generally favorable review score and positive feedback from those who played the game on consoles.
