After a series of ludicrous controversies, the draconian Censor Board has now objected to the use of the word "intercourse" in one of the mini trails of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, "Jab Harry Met Sejal".

With Anushka Sharma as the female lead, "Jab Harry Met Sejal" hits the screens on August 4. The third mini trailer revealed that Anushka is in search of a ring but kept the audience in suspense of rest of the story. Speaking to news agency ANI, he said that for digital medium "there is no need for certificate" but what's aired on television needs to certified by the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC). Now, Pahlaj said that he won't ask to remove the word if he gets 1 Lakh votes in its favor.

Nihalani told Mirror Now correspondent that: "If you take the voting from the public, I promise you that I will clear this word in the picture as well as in the promo". Now, Nihalini has thrown some kind of open challenge at the makers of the film or the country at large, and said that he will allow the word "intercourse" if 1 lakh people vote for the word to stay. "We have not given a certificate to them, we have only given them a certificate for digital, but then they don't require certification for the digital platform".

Due to this obstruction, the makers were unable to release the movie's trailer along with the screening of Tubelight. While airing the trailer online wasn't a concern, that the uncensored version has been screening on television has upset Nihalani.

More than 400 Sejals flocked to Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat to catch a glimpse of the actor and greet him owing to his nationwide hunt for Sejals.

Jab Harry Met Sejal also stars Sayani Gupta and Evelyn Sharma. Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, "Jab Harry Met Sejal" is directed by Imtiaz Ali.
