Home Secretary Amber Rudd said the bomber, Salman Abedi, "likely" did not act alone when he killed 22 people and wounded almost 120 at an Ariana Grande concert Monday night in Manchester.

"Three men have been arrested after police executed warrants in South Manchester in connection with the ongoing investigation into Monday night's horrific attack at the Manchester Arena", a Greater Manchester Police statement said.

The Times, citing CCTV footage recovered by police, said the attacker had placed a suitcase in the foyer of the concert hall shortly before the explosion.

Salman Abedi, the 22-year-old.

The device, contained in a bag packed with nails, was believed to use an explosive known as TATP that has become Isis' hallmark in atrocities including the Paris and Brussels attacks, as well as plots across Europe.

French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb told French broadcaster BFMTV that British officials had said Abedi had been "radicalized" and had probably traveled to Syria during a trip to Libya.

Although the LIFG disbanded, Haroun says the father belongs to the Salafi Jihadi movement, the most extreme sect of Salafism and from which al-Qaida and the Islamic State group both hail.

But a spokesperson for Libyan authorities said one of Abedi's final acts was to ring his mother, adding that Hashim had told officials: "I know everything about my brother, what he was doing there in Manchester".

In a separate interview with BBC Radio 4, Rudd said it appears likely that Abedi was not acting alone.

Poland's Foreign Ministry confirmed on Wednesday that at least two Polish citizens died and one was among the 59 injured in the attack at the end of a concert by United States singer Ariana Grande in the northern English city.

The Polish foreign ministry, which did not name the couple, said: "We share the pain of the family and the loved ones of the victims and express our most honest condolences".

A source from the company told TMZ that they're apparently offering refunds for Live Nation shows from Katy Perry, Iron Maiden, KISS, Waka Flocka Flame, Robbie Williams, Phil Collins, Depeche Mode and James Arthur.

Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski told a Polish radio station: "The parents came after the concert to collect their daughters and unfortunately we have information that they are dead".

Many at the concert were young girls and teens enthralled by Grande's pop power - and those who died included an 8-year-old girl.

Hopkins confirmed on Wednesday that an off-duty policewoman was among those who died.

The attack killed 22 people, all of whom have now been identified by police but their names will be released during the course of this week after formal identifications are complete. Collomb spoke with British Prime Minister Theresa May and said the two countries should continue cooperating closely on counterterrorism efforts despite Britain's pending exit from the European Union.

One of London's biggest shopping centers, Brent Cross, began searching all customers entering the complex on Wednesday, local media said.

Greater Manchester Police has asked people to remain vigilant and report anything suspicious to the Anti-Terrorist Helpline.
