We learn nothing about the Trump's marriage by seeing them not hold hands.

After enduring eight years of the Obama administration, Rubin says he had "high hopes" that Trump would personally state that Jerusalem is the "undivided capital" of Israel.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas reiterated today, to his United States counterpart Donald Trump, his commitment to reaching a historic peace agreement with Israel.

"The fate of Jerusalem can't be decided by Trump, for Jerusalem is Arab; Jerusalem is Palestinian, and we decide its fate, not the Americans".

Speaking alongside Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Trump offered his condolences and condemned the "wicked ideology" that led to the attack.

It said a Palestinian was shot and wounded by Israeli police in Netanya, northern Israel, for allegedly stabbing a policeman.

"The two leaders also agreed on the need to counter Iran and its proxies, including by building strong military capabilities to protect Israel and the region from Iranian aggression", the White House added.

To get to Bethlehem, the location of the Church of the Nativity, where Jesus is said to have been born, Trump passed through an Israeli checkpoint and a network of vast concrete blastwalls that separate the occupied territory from Israel.

"Making peace will not be easy. Big, big, attractive difference", Trump said to loud applause from his audience, which included members of Netanyahu's Cabinet and other officials.

After arriving in Tel Aviv, the Trumps walked down the tarmac along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara. Both sides will face tough decisions. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley declared the site part of Israel, while US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson dodged the question on Monday. It's also the first time a sitting USA president has entered the Old City of Jerusalem and been observant at the Western Wall, the holiest spot in all of Judaism.

"We can not stand a moment longer for the slaughter of innocent people", he said. Another effigy was set up by the Marxist-Leninist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine that depicted Trump.

Trump, in line with Israel's positions on the Palestinian struggle against occupation, insisted that 'peace can never take root in a place where violence is tolerated, financed and even rewarded'.
