Antonio Conte given 'surprise' ice bucket drenching by Chelsea players

Conte led the Blues to the top-flight trophy on Friday night after Michy Batshuayi's 82nd-minute goal against West Brom handed Chelsea their fifth Premier League title.

Then, Chelsea found a way -- through, of all people, their little-used £33million reserve striker Michy Batshuayi, who stabbed home the title-clincher eight minutes from time. Now it's important to rest, and for it to become a fantastic season we have to win the FA Cup!

"They waited for me after the celebrations with the fans, and put Champagne and beer on me", said Conte. They showed me a great attitude to try to do something great this season.

"We all know if we win we will be champions, so maybe we have a lot of pressure, but we are almost there". I thought we deserved it over the season. An ever-present in Chelsea's title-winning campaign, Azpilicueta once more proved his versatility as a defender and cutting-edge chance creator.

He said: "I think during the game you can allow to do this change (taking Hazard and Pedro off)".

"I'm wearing the tracksuit but I'm living a very important moment". "Now I want to celebrate!"

"If you asked me if in my first season I would have this type of finale, I don't know because our season did not start in the right way with many problems".

"I think this win is for the players".

As painful as it is to say, if the Blues DID have to play in Europe this season, they would likely have struggled to fend off those noisy neighbours of ours, but if another strong side had no Europe they would have of course been closer.

Antonio Conte's now familiar manic goal celebration got its first showcase as Diego Costa popped up in the 89th minute to clinch victory in the Italian's first competitive match in charge. Chelsea as a complete unit once again demonstrated the quality required to win the title.

"For him I'm pleased because he's scored two goals, this one was very important for him and us".

Luiz realised a dream with Chelsea's success, having joined the club for a second time last summer.

"He [Conte] likes to work, works with passion every day, I am happy for him". Nigeria star Victor Moses, who played a pivotal role in the big achievement, won his first Premier League title.

"This is a dream that is coming true".

A back three only works with hard-running midfielders, flying wing-backs and an error-free central defence.

Conte was subsequently tasked with the aim of reviving Chelsea, which he has done with the title capture at the Hawthorns. "We're still doing the right things, there's no complacency", Cahill said. That's hard, and we are not there yet.

'That's when we said that we can win the league'. "Every single manager can have a good idea of football, but if you don't have the players behind you, it's impossible to reach targets like this".
