We have to believe Bayley will be first in line for a Championship rematch tomorrow night on Raw.

This becomes Alexa Bliss' third reign as a women's champion in the WWE, following two runs with the title on Smackdown. Bliss would leave SmackDown and join Raw.

Bliss started with the mind games as Bayley made her attempt to dominate.

Bliss defeated Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Mickie James in a Fatal 4-Way to earn a shot against Bayley at Payback.

Alexa Bliss crushed the dreams of Bayley, and made history in the process. After five minutes of Bliss throwing her body around to maximize the effect of her offense, Bayley regained the momentum and held control of the match for much of the rest of the proceedings thanks to a cutter while Bliss was trapped between the middle and top rope. Bayley quickly recovered on this occasion, though, attacking Bliss as she sat on the top turnbuckle, poised for a top-rope Bayley-to-Belly to end the match.

Bayley defended her title in her hometown of San Jose, CA, and the crowd was fully behind her.

Alexa Bliss just became the first person to win the Women's Championship on both Raw and Smackdown Live - and the new champ celebrated in true cocky fashion after her victory. Bliss seemed down for the count but a push into the turnbuckle saw Bliss take full advantage as a prone Bayley took a "DDT" to lose her championship. However, she could only manage a two count.
