The regular visits stand in marked contrast to Trump's insistence during last year's campaign that he wouldn't spend time playing golf if elected president, including at the courses he owns.

The security zone went into effect Thursday afternoon ahead of the arrival of China's President Xi Jinping, and were lifted Sunday afternoon after Air Force One took off from Palm Beach International Airport. This marks the 10th consecutive weekend he's visited a Trump-branded property - and his sixth trip to Mar-a-Lago as president.

Reports say the president left for his golf course around 9:30 a.m. Sunday sporting a white polo shirt and red cap.

South Florida made global news when a pilot breached the security area soon after the president's arrival at Mar-a-Lago on February 17. On Saturday, the White House released information about the call, saying the Saudi Arabian leader praised Trump for getting involved in the Syrian conflict. "He's not a ideal person or president, but he cares about us".

"I don't ever think that I'd see anything, I just wanna stay in the White House and work my ass off, make great deals, right?" Mr Trump argued he should have been conferring with lawmakers instead.
