The NFL Draft is here!

If Bill O'Brien can't convince his former boss to trade him Jimmy Garoppolo, he'll have to get aggressive in the draft.

The New England Patriots don't have first- or second-round draft picks, but they do have two third-round selections. It was a very fast and extremely jubilant first round for the Eagles. "I don't believe it, but if they do, why not pull the trigger at No. 1 and not worry about it?" He was found to have a diluted urine sample at the combine, which counts as a failed drug test. He has the tools to be a good-to-great National Football League quarterback, though it's no guarantee.

Conley's Buckeye teammate Marshon Lattimore, who is also expected to be a first-round selection, offered up a stern defense of Conley on the rape case. And it showed just how serious they are about solidifying a traditionally weak position for the team over the years.

The first receiver off the board will be Mike Williams of Clemson, who had 98 receptions and 11 TDs last season. Cyprien isn't going to be used as a true strong safety- more like a dime linebacker. Cook was an All-American last season. He then follows that with the San Francisco 49ers using the second-overall pick on Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett, then the Chicago Bears adding Stanford defensive end Solomon Thomas. For whatever reason, Cleveland is reportedly giving serious consideration to taking Trubisky over Garrett with the first pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. He's actually going to drop behind Deshaun Watson in the draft order. Trubisky ranks fifth at North Carolina in career passing touchdowns (41), sixth in yards passing (4,762) and seventh in total offense (5,201).

In an interview with Bob Ley on ESPN's "Outside the Lines" on Thursday, Leaf described the joy of being able to return to football in a productive role, making himself available to the quarterback prospects who wanted to seek out his advice and guidance.

Finally, everything we have been hearing indicates the Falcons are planning to pick a pass rusher in the first round to complement Vic Beasley.

Only the first 32 picks of the seven-round draft were made on Thursday and London-born safety Melifonwu, who moved to America aged three and has relatives from the capital there with him watching this event, was not among those picked.
