The current light heavyweight champion clocked in at 206.2 pounds during his first weigh-in before dropping 1.2 pounds in a matter of a few minutes to make weight.

Then he went after former champion Jon Jones, who is now serving a one-year suspension after testing positive for a banned substance, asking if he was even eligible to fight yet.

Jon Jones hits Daniel Cormier with an elbow during their fight at UFC 182 Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Jones told MMAjunkie at a media Q&A today at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y., that he'll be cageside for UFC 210, which takes place Saturday with a main card on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Before meeting Cormier for the first time, he also pulled off a first-round TKO of Gustafsson in his home country of Sweden as a solid underdog. "I want to get that belt back and fighting a guy like Gegard Mousasi is just the type of guy I need to do it". "When you do it regularly it becomes a routine, it becomes easier", Mousasi said. From there, he locked in a rear-naked choke and Johnson submitted.

There was a lot of controversy surrounding this fight after it was nearly called off by the New York State Athletic Commission because Gonzalez has breast implants. "So, according to the commission policy, it's a legal weigh-in".

There, the duo, who have mainly been cordial in the leadup to the fight, disagree.

Calvillo, who is a technical striker with an aggressive submission game, improved to 2-0 after appearing on her second consecutive UFC main card event.

Johnson's retirement was the second of the night, as earlier in the event, Patrick Cote announced the end of his career following his unanimous decision loss to Thiago Alves. When you get your [expletive] together and you're ready to fight, I'm where waiting for you! Hopefull this isn't a sign of things to come at UFC 210.

Georges St-Pierre's potential fight with Michael Bisping would be the only fight that could rival Cormier-Jones II in box office interest.

"I used to do a lot of dumb (stuff)".

"I heard about it". On top of that, at age 33, he is one of the division's younger talents.

Daniel Cormier has attempted to clear up any confusion that might have come about from his weigh-in on Friday afternoon.

"The guy still isn't eligible to fight". "And I know he has that wrestling base and once a wrestler, always a wrestler, but you know I think he's pretty much fallen in love with his striking and his power". I didn't want any distractions.
