Shirish Kunder Tweets Apology After FIR Is Registered Against Him

Mar.25 (ANI): In a twisting turn of events, director Shirish Kunder has apologised for dubbing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as a "goon" on Twitter. He said Uttar Pradesh had been deprived of the benefits of development during the previous regimes and promised that his government would bring in the fruits of progress to the last man.


He announced Rs 1 lakh in aid to to Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims.

After becoming the chief minister, the five-time MP from Gorakhpur has taken a series of actions which includes closing of illegal slaughter houses, forming "anti-Romeo" squads and banning consumption of paan masala in offices. "The state government would construct a building for Kailash Mansarovar in Lucknow, Ghaziabad or Noida", the chief minister added.


"The government would not differentiate on the basis of caste, religion or gender".

Addressing a huge gathering at the Pratap Inter College in Gorakhpur, the chief minister said that he was pained to see that the public places were so unsafe for women. "We need to change Uttar Pradesh the same way and ensure rule of law in the state". He said that arrangements were underway to directly credit the minimum support prices to the farmers' bank accounts to weed out chances of red tapism and corruption across the procurement chain.


Reaching out to the youth, he said that authorities would not harass boys and girls if they are roaming around with consent. He further said, instructions have been issued to fix the roads all over the state by 15th June.
