Stay tuned for much more from Rick Ross coming soon and look for Rather You Than Me this Friday, March 17th.

Rick Ross and Lil Wayne aren't an unlikely bromance than some of us seems to think since Rozay has always been a staunch supporter of Weezy in his Birdman feud.

But, the they Khaled was talking about was Birdman? In 2015, Wayne sued Cash Money for $51 million after claiming that it stiffed him for $10 million on Carter V.

"I told Meek I wouldn't trust Nicki", he rapped.

Last month, Ross spoke about his then-forthcoming album in an exclusive interview with Billboard and referenced "Idols Become Rivals" specifically. But things soured after Wayne and Birdman's public falling out over the delay of Wayne's Carter V album - which has still not been released, though Birdman is adamant it will arrive this year - and subsequent lawsuits against the label.

Ross explained the track in an Instagram post, and declared his support for Wayne.

Touched by Rozay's heartfelt message Wayne expressed his gratitude on Twitter.

Wayne responded with a tweet of his own: "dam big bro that msg hit me in the heart and put the motivation on automatik start". This adds more fuel to the rumor that Minaj was the reason that ex-boyfriend Meek Mill and Drake had their ongoing beef. Minaj and Meek dated for two years before splitting in early January.

He raps, "I told Meek I wouldn't trust Nicki, instead of beefing with your dog you just give him some distance / we all make mistakes lets not be specific". "The streets need you.Being a Boss means having the courage to say the things everybody thinking but scared to say.I can't wait for you to hear it.Midnight".
