Friends star Matthew Perry has revealed he once beat up Justin Truseau, the Canadian prime minister.

He joked that Trudeau, whose father, Pierre, was Prime Minister of Canada at the time, was "the only kid in school I could beat up".

"My friend Chris Murray, who was also in the fifth grade in Canada, reminded me that we actually beat up Justin Trudeau", he revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night (15Mar17), as he struggled to recall the exact reason for the beating.

Matthew hasn't been in contact with Justin since their school days, and has no intention to reach out to him because he is still "ashamed" of his actions. "I don't want to think about it".

"I have a story about him that I'm not proud of", Matthew begun.

Speaking to host Jimmy Kimmel he said, "I think he (Justin Trudeau) was excelling at a sport that we weren't, so it was pure jealousy".

"I'm not bragging about this".

Perry said, "We both beat him up".

But Perry made it very clear that he was ashamed of the act. "I think he said 'I'm going to rise above this'".

"I think it was rather instrumental in him ... going to such great heights and becoming the prime minister", Perry told Kimmel of the alleged knockdown. It was bad. I was a stupid kid.
