LeBron Narrowly Avoids Crashing Into Bill Belichick at Cavs-Celtics Game

The two men had an impromptu meeting during Wednesday night's game in Boston between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics.

That didn't stop him from being instrumental in the Celtics' 103-99 victory against the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers last night at the Garden. Kyre Irving's (28 pts) was the bright spot for Cleveland his performance and shots he made was unbelievable that kept the Cavs in the ball game. Media; fans; current players, and ex-players like former Celtic Chauncey Billups as well as Michael Jordan, who encouraged him to keep "killin' em". except when he plays Jordan's Charlotte Hornets.

But are the additions of Deron Williams, Andrew Bogut and Derrick Williams enough to propel the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James to back-to-back titles?

After the game, James admitted he "definitely slowed up", because he saw the New England Patriots decision maker.

After the loss, though, James was still in good spirits, complimenting the Celtics and coach Brad Stevens for the job they've done this year. Even James himself commented "I'm not taking no legend out".

Deron Williams scored four points in 24 minutes in his first game for the Cavaliers since being acquired this week. Tristan Thompson, the only Cavalier to start every game, will be able to rest his sore knee while sharing time with Bogut.

Thomas finished with 31 points on 10 of 20 shooting as the Celtics notched their 39th win in 61 outings.

"I thought it was good".

What clicked or changed (for you) late in the fourth quarter? "So that's going to be the biggest challenge the next few weeks, especially getting J.R. [Smith] back and then with Kevin [Love] coming back".

Boston's win overshadowed the seventh triple-double of the season for James, who finished with 28 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. And that's the real difference between these two franchises: The Cavaliers have peaked, while the young Celtics are continuing to build.
