Duggar and Forsythe have been friends for 15 years, and he described the rural Arkansas area where he asked her "court" him. "I knew we were ready for this next step, because everything fell into place - the OK from Mr. Duggar and my dad, just timing on the Lord, everything was just ideal", Austin said.

"I'm so excited to be engaged to my best friend", Joy-Anna told Us Weekly.

Forsyth tells Us that he's excited to be starting down the road to sharing his life with the "Counting On" star.

Austin chimed in, saying, "I just asked her to enter into a courtship with me", as Joy-Anna revealed she said "yes!" "I'm so excited to see what the future holds for us!"

The fourth daughter in the family to be married, Joy-Anna began "courting" Forsythe in November after he asked her father, Jim Bob Duggar, for permission to chastely date his daughter. She's such a diligent worker. She's a good delegator. She said in an interview with People last month, "It's really special that I got to grow up with him and my family knows him really well". Those who watch Counting On on TLC - which documents the lives of the older Duggar girls - will be familiar with Forsyth, as the show features his and Joy-Anna's relationship quite frequently.

Of course. While reports of Austin and Joy having sex are most likely exaggerated, we're also sure they're past the side hug stage. Joy-Anna and Austin are indeed already engaged.

Duggar is 19-years-old, while her husband-to-be is 23.

"You would have to ask Austin what he's thinking and my dad, but I'm excited to see what God has in store for us in the next year".

At 19, Joy-Anna will be the youngest bride in her generation of Duggars, but it seems she has zero qualms will taking the leap.

While their courtship has not been incredibly long and both are still young, Joy-Anna and Austin have known each other for years. Will Jana ever get to leave the family home?
