It's a seasonal service, beginning June 8, 2017 and running through September 5.

Sonoma County Airport (STS) announces that United Airlines will offer three nonstop daily flights to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) starting June 8, 2017.

United will fly to San Francisco with a 128-seat Airbus 319.

You will soon be able to travel non-stop from Bradley Airport to San Francisco.

The outbound flight will leave Windsor Locks at 6:30 a.m., with an arrival at San Francisco at 9:46 a.m.

United Airlines says it's adding new destinations in smaller cities this summer including Champaign.

That change appears likely to at least include service by United Airlines from Springfield to Houston, Texas. Introductory fares as low as $65 one-way for very basic service.

The airport has a news conference scheduled for 10:30 regarding what officials are calling "a major change in Springfield air service". The regional carrier uses leased corporate jets.

Houston will be United's third nonstop destination from Springfield.

Just this past week American Airlines started offering a larger plane for passengers flying to the Dallas airport.

The Houston service will be the 13th non-stop destination for Springfield. "We will continue utilizing the airport as yet another resource to grow jobs and increase business activity in CT".
