Luke Kennard led Duke with 23 points, Jayson Tatum had 19 points and 13 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.

Coming out of that timeout, the Orange swung the ball to rookie Tyus Battle on the right wing.

Lately, Duke has been tougher than others.

IMG's Brian Higgins, the play-by-play announcer for Syracuse women's basketball, captured an epic photograph of John Gillon looking stone-cold in the middle of the celebration. Frank Jackson added 12 points while Grayson Allen added 11 points along with a team-leading 6 assists.

SU's lead was short-lived, as the Blue Devils scored a half dozen points to go back on top. They played a practically flawless game in the second half, and thanks to their excellent shooting leveled the scores at 75-75 with ten seconds left in the game for the final buzzer.

Syracuse then took advantage of the double-bonus, hitting seven straight free throws sandwiched around Kennard's fifth 3-pointer of the game to gain a 61-59 lead. They are now 9-7 in the ACC, just a game and a half behind the third place teams.

Cuse (17-12, 9-7 ACC) has just two games remaining before the ACC tournament - a visit to seventh ranked Louisville and their regular season finale at home against Georgia Tech, both of which have already defeated Syracuse this season.

He was in fourth grade: "We got Capri Sun afterward".

All of a sudden, whatever Syracuse wanted offensively became a reality, with inconsistent forwards Tyler Lydon and Tyler Roberson even getting involved.

A few minutes later, after one of Battle's rare misses, Lydon had such good offensive rebounding position that his tip-in barely required him to make contact with the basketball.

All it took was one miraculous shot for the Syracuse Orange and all its supporters to explode. Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski holds a slim 4-3 edge against Jim Boeheim and the Orange. "That opened up some driving lanes and got us some fouls".

While Allen seems to have been able to keep his controversial past in the past, the criticism from fans and opposing crowds will likely continue throughout his career as a Blue Devil. "We needed that one". He kept several key possessions alive for the Blue Devils but ultimately his efforts were combatted by the gritty 'Cuse team.
