The film, featuring the voices of Will Arnett and Rosario Dawson, has kept Fifty Shades Darker in second place for a second weekend with an additional $35 million (GBP28 million).

The third film to be released under the Warner Bros.

The Lego Batman Movie should come in first place again at the domestic box office this President's Day weekend.

"With strong word of mouth, minimal direct competition from new releases and solid reviews (91% on Rotten Tomatoes), The Lego Batman Movie should easily retain the top spot this holiday weekend", Wells Fargo analysts wrote in a note. Fifty Shades Darker also maintained its rank, adding $20 million to its $89 million for a second week in second place.

Coming in at No. 3 was Matt Damon's new movie The Wall with $18.1 million. Yet, for the week that followed, Fifty Shades posted a winning streak that has actually pushed its total domestic take ahead of Lego Batman going into this weekend. The LEGO Batman Movie has grossed $98.8 million in North America in two weeks. And Fox's horror-thriller "A Cure for Wellness" was scaring up a modest $4.9 million at 2,704 screens as it was projected to finish 11th. To date, The Great Wall has amassed $244.6 million from worldwide territories, amounting to a massive $262.7 million global haul thus far, recalling the grosses of Universal's 2016 actioner Warcraft, which made a soft $47.4 million in the USA but soared to $386.3 million from foreign audiences.
