John Oliver's hilarious take on Donald Trump's handshake is a must watch

John Oliver kicked off season 4 of HBO's Last Week Tonight on Sunday evening. Oliver basically caught up on what has happened during the shows break. He and his former "Daily Show" colleague Samantha Bee, on her TBS show "Full Frontal", have taken some of the deepest dives into the surreality of the Trump ascendance, so it would have been disappointing if Sunday's episode had simply revisited problems that have been exhaustively documented elsewhere. Other comedy shows already chewed through the whole fake news, alternative facts mess. And it has got the attention of none other than English comedian and television host John Oliver.

Oliver ended with what could be the only way to reach the US President - by putting advertisements on cable news channels during programmes such as Morning Joe, Fox & Friends, and New Day, all of which the US President is known to watch.

The first commercial, disguised as medical ad about catheters, explains to Donald Trump the country's nuclear triad. The old cowboy in the commercial explains that the triad exists so the United States can strike back in case one of the three nuclear options is destroyed. The first such ad will run Monday on several outlets, Mr. Oliver said.

Oliver - in his show Last Week Tonight's latest episode - let Trump's handshake, which even got to Japan PM Shinzo Abe, take centre stage.

Donald Trump shakes more than his fair share of hands - but his unique handshake style has to be seen to be believed.
