The trailer for Apple Music's new series is here, and it looks - well, it looks basically like what you'd expect out of a series based on the Late Late Show's water cooler hit.

Apple has released the first trailer to their upcoming version of Carpool Karaoke featuring Will Smith, Ariana Grande, James Corden and more.

At the time of writing, it's absolutely unclear when the new Carpool Karaoke would go live on Apple Music. Today's ad shows off the concept of rotating hosts which include John Legend, Will Smith, James Corden, Blake Shelton, and Shaquille O'Neal.

The original premise of the skit depicted the last night TV host picking up celebrities and musicians in a vehicle, then driving around while singing along to current hits on the radio.

The preview, edited as intercut fragments which total into a musical arrangement of its own, aired as a commercial during the awards show, which Corden himself hosted.

In the trailer, Metallica piles into a vehicle with comedian Billy Eichner to sing "Master of Puppets". Furthermore, episodes will not only take place in the vehicle but locations such as basketball courts and laundromats.

Carpool Karaoke comes to Apple Music later this year.

Also coming soon are a reality show following app developers called Planet of the Apps and a documentary about Cash Money records called Before Anythang.

So it's official - Blue Ivy is a "Carpool Karaoke" fan and that's probably the best endorsement for anything ever. It has been one of his most famous bits from The Late Late Show, and has seen people like Lady Gaga and Michelle Obama alike get into it with him, which in itself is fantastic.
