Keegan-Michael Key, who seems to be everywhere right now, and Taraji P. Henson, who stars as Cookie on Empire, will both guest-star on the episode. Called "The Great Phatsby," it is about Mr. Burns being conned out of business by a ruthless music tycoon and his plot for revenge afterward.

Al Jean, executive producer of the series that revels in daring humor, included a political shot in announcing the episode.

Mr. Burns believed in the green light. As for Key, he'll be playing a rapper named Jazzy James, whom E.W. reports is a former collaborator turned nemesis of Jay G's.

The episode will also feature subplots where Lisa - like, you know, whatever- starts dating a rich boyfriend, and Marge opens up a boutique. In addition to the new season, Simpsons fans can also anticipate the show's first hour-long episode.

The upcoming 28th season kicks off Sunday, Sept. 25th at 8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT, and the special hour-long installment will air in January 2017. Burns agrees - with one condition: he gets to put on a variety show at the Springfield Bowl. As the longest-running scripted series in television history, THE SIMPSONS has become one of the most consistently groundbreaking, innovative and recognizable entertainment franchises throughout the world.

Additionally, the series' record-setting 600 episode will air Sunday, Oct. 16 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), with a classic "Treehouse of Horror XXVII" episode.
