Rio Olympics: Swim legend Michael Phelps clinches 19th Olympic gold medal

After their finals tomorrow, both swimmers still have one more attempt to medal.

With the win, Phelps has now extended his medal tally to staggering 23 medals, which includes two silvers and two bronzes. Yesterday, Phelps won the gold medal along with his teammates in the men's 4x100m freestyle relay. Michael beamed and kissed his medal as the emotional team stood on the podium and received their medals. Romania was third in 6:16.24.

Rio is likely to be Phelps' last OIympic appearance but he has backed the other three members of the relay team to go on and dominate future editions of the Games.
