A statement released by the Old Trafford outfit said that the contract has "the option to extend for a further year".

Stormzy, like Pogba and United, is sponsored by Adidas and the video has since been removed from his Facebook page, appearing to indicate that the rapper published it a little prematurely.

Manchester United have completed the signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus.

Pogba has been on an extended holiday in the United States of America, travelling to Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, and NY, before returning to France before heading to Manchester on Monday morning. United did not confirm the fee paid when announcing the deal. It could rise above £100m with add-ons. Ferguson accused Pogba of not showing United "any respect" and insisted he was happy to let Pogba leave in 2012, three years after joining from French club Le Havre.

The transfer represents the latest arrival under Mourinho, with United having embarked on a major recruitment drive this summer having already acquired the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly.

Pogba, who helped hosts France reach the Euro 2016 final, has won the Serie A title in each of his four seasons at Juventus. However, there's potential for Pogba to become one of the finest players of his generation, and the Red Devils will hope to see him achieve that status at Old Trafford.

Pogba added: "I am delighted to rejoin United". Or perhaps it was "leaked" on goal to further hype-up this big-money move. It was like I'd just come back home. "He is young and will continue to improve; he has the chance to be at the heart of this club for the next decade and beyond".

Real Madrid had also been keen to sign Pogba, and sources said the European champions made an attempt last month to beat United to the deal.

Writing on Instagram he said: "This transfer took so long because it was a huge decision and involved lots of thinking and work".

Pogba had made just seven appearances for United during his first spell with the Premier League club, all during the 2011-12 season, including three in the Premier League, three in the Capital One Cup and one in the Europa League. This is not a new experience for Manchester United, after the club sold Cristiano Ronaldo for a then-record of 94 million euros back in 2009.

It's suggested that when the performance-related bonuses and above all the commission for agent Mino Raiola are included, the deal will have eventually cost United in the region of €140m (£119m).
