Bills rookie third-stringer Cardale Jones almost pulled out a comeback victory in the final seconds.

Philip Rivers completed 66.1 percent of his passes for 4,792 yards and 29 touchdowns against 13 interceptions.

But Jones failed to pull out the win by throwing an incompletion while attempting a 2-point conversion.

The Tennessee Titans rushed for 288 yards en route to a 27-10 exhibition victory over the San Diego Chargers on Saturday night at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn.

Murray, seeking a new start in Tennessee after struggling with Chip Kelly's offense in Philadelphia last season, had six carries for 93 yards. Second-year quarterback Marcus Mariota completed all five of his passes for 45 yards prior to leaving after two possessions. The Titans had a field goal on Mariota's first series and capped his final drive with Murray's touchdown. Murray easily broke safety Adrian Phillips' attempted tackle on his way to the end zone. After leading the National Football League in rushing with the 2014 Dallas Cowboys, he signed a multi-year deal with the Cowboys' NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles in 2015 National Football League free agency. Murray averaged 3.6 yards per carry and was benched late in the season.

The Titans meanwhile had a tough go of things past year as well and ended up with another top end draft pick but with Marcus Mariota in his second season behind center and the team getting Demarco Murray from the Eagles they could be in a bit better shape this time around. On the ground, Melvin Gordon accumulated 641 yards while Danny Woodhead complimented for 336 yards and three touchdowns.

San Diego is 6-0 ATS in their last six road games, 4-0 ATS in their last four against the AFC, and 2-6 in their last eight Saturday games while the Titans are 16-33-3 ATS in their last 52 home games, 0-4 ATS in their last four Saturday games and hit the UNDER in 8-1-1 in their last 10 Saturday games. On the next play, Gordon caught a pass around the Tennessee 40 before running into the end zone.
