He was in uniform for last Friday's game against the Green Bay Packers at Levi's Stadium, which was when his anthem protest was first gained attention. From his former head coach Jim Harbaugh to Will Muschamp at SC, plenty of people have weighed in on Kaepernick's actions.

"The great thing about this country is that we have the freedoms that allow you to speak out openly about any issue, so I'm not commenting on the issue itself because any person has the right to speak out on any issue they want", Brees said. To clarify, I support Colin's motivation. "It's his method of action that I take exception to". A lot of National Basketball Association players have done it, and good on 'em. "I think it's a bad thing", Trump said. And maybe he should find a country that works better for him, let him try. "I think he could have picked a better platform and a better way to do it".

As Kaepernick continues to receive scrutiny from many, Wall says he would like to see the QB use his voice to help create change off the field instead of continuing to sit during the national anthem. It really irked me.

This is quite a turnaround for Trump, whose slogan "Make America Great Again" implies America isn't all that great and needs to make some real changes. And we can move forward. There is police brutality.

"There is some depth and some truth into what he was doing". Which is to protest how minorities are treated in the U.S.

"I thought that was pathetic from him".

He added, "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way".

Wall, who served in the Marine Corps, took over Post 1 just after a fire destroyed more than 300 American flags that honored soldiers and veterans during special events.

"Like, I could shed a tear every time the national anthem plays if I would allow myself because it's that powerful".
