The CW Orders SUPERMAN AND LOIS & WALKER, TEXAS RANGER Reboot to Series

Still to be determined: Will the backdoor Arrow spinoff pilot episode, "Green Arrow and the Canaries" (airing Tuesday, Jan. 21), also be ordered to series...?

Superman and Lois stars Tyler hoechlin Y Bitsie Tulloch, in the main roles, repeating the parts that have been playing in Arrowverse during the last seasons and crossovers. According to Deadline, the pick-up of the Superman & Lois series may impact that pilot's chances of getting a series order. Hoechlin and Tulloch have both appeared in the Arrowverse, including in the "Elseworlds" crossover of 2018 and the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" in 2019 and 2020.


Superman & Lois is described as "revolving around the most famous superhero in the world and the most famous cartoonist in the face of all the stress, pressure and complexities that come with being working parents. today's society".

As Arrow nears its end, the Arrowverse will at the very least hold steady at six programs, now that Superman & Lois has been officially ordered to series at The CW.

The show is written and executive produced by The Flash's Todd Helbing, and executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns. The series is from writer and executive producer Anna Fricke (Being Human, Valor), with Padalecki also on board as a producer along with Dan Lin and Lindsay Liberatore. "He will try to reconnect with his children, navigate confrontations with his family and find unexpected common ground with his new partner (one of the first women in the history of the Texas Rangers), while he increasingly suspects the circumstances surrounding the death of his wife,"reads the official description". Walker is a CBS Television Studios manufacturing, in affiliation with Rideback.
