Trump and Macron clash at North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit in London

US President Donald Trump loves to dominate an worldwide summit with impromptu, rambling press briefings that leave his fellow world leaders struggling to stick to their agenda. Yet they have been broadcast and now we have to know if there will be consequences.

Tusk and Trump previously had a tense relationship, with differing views on Brexit and the EU, The Sun reported.

"The Obama-Biden administration was all about the world and what the world thought and President Trump is about the American people", she said.

That is when, Trudeau while never dropping Trump's name, seems to mock him by saying that 'he was late because he takes a 40 minute press conference off the top every time'.

At present, Canada's North Atlantic Treaty Organisation defence spending is at 1.31 per cent of GDP, and Trump is reported to have used the word "delinquent" again on Wednesday behind closed doors during the summit.

Trudeau needs Trump to lean on China to get Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor released.

The queen hosted NATO's anniversary at Buckingham Palace but with America's 70 per cent contribution uncertain under Donald Trump, it's facing a fractured future.

Trump has resisted some of those efforts to pressure Erdogan - a point of tension exposed yesterday during feisty exchanges with the French leader.

"As the president has said, Joe Biden claims that foreign leaders have told him they want him to win the election".

Things rarely seem to go well when President Donald Trump leaves the U.S. The NATO summit was the latest example and now The Daily Show with Trevor Noah is wondering if President Trump has become a victim of bullying. The White House, which confirmed the meeting after Erdogan's office posted a photo of the leaders on social media, said the pair discussed "the importance of Turkey fulfilling its alliance commitments" as well as security and economic issues.

One would think that President Trump could handle this and take it in stride.

"These people, you nearly question whether or not they love our country", Trump complained about Democrats during his meeting with Conte.

"The world is laughing at President Trump", the former vice-president tweeted.

There is a tendency among Canada's Laurentian Elites to laugh at, sneer at and generally mock anything to do with Trump.

In a news conference after the summit, Trudeau said his "jaw drop" comment had been referring to Trump's unexpected announcement that the next G7 summit will take place at Camp David and he had meant no offence.

"That's complete nonsense. I don't know where that's come from", Mr Johnson said.
