Young Korean actor Cha In-ha has been found dead, according to local media reports in South Korea. A cause of death has yet to be revealed.

His agency, Fantagio, said that they are aware of the reports and are trying to verify the authenticity of this. We are truly disconsolate for delivering sad news to all who have sent much love and support to Cha In Ha so far.

As such, we ask everyone to refrain from spreading rumors and releasing speculative reports, in order for his family, who is now feeling great sorrow because of this sudden news, to mourn and send him off peacefully. "As wished by his household, the funeral might be held privately".

Cha's last Instagram post less than a day ago was captioned, "Everybody, watch out", as he glanced at his mobile phone in several images, though it was unclear what he was alluding to.

The rising star was discovered useless in his residence on Tuesday December three, and his passing has been confirmed by his brokers Fantagio.

Another posted: "What a bad year this has been so far with so many talented young individuals leaving too soon". Fellow K-pop star Sulli had also committed suicide in October this year at the age of 25.

The troubled star had reportedly tried to take her own life in May and was found unconscious by her manager at her home in Seoul's Gangnam district.

In the cases of Sulli and Goo, both were found dead at home, with authorities eliminating foul play.

The singing superstar, real name Choi Jin-ri, was a former child actress who became famous after joining girl group f (x) aged 14.
