One of R. Kelly's girlfriends, Joycelyn Savage, who has maintained for a long time that the singer never abused her in any way broke her silence recently, detailing how she was "risking" her life to tell the truth of what really went down in their relationship.

"I am truly exhausted of all the lies that they are saying about the man that we love so much and our best friend: R. Kelly", Savage said in a video provided to TMZ on Wednesday. "I would never in a million years hurt him like this", Joycelyn said, as seen in the clip below. Joycelyn impersonator posted a text image with the caption "I'm sorry" and said, "This is my story".

Savage read directly from her phone for about half of the video published by TMZ. It's really sad for her that someone would pretend to be her and say that she was the victim and was brainwashed, and was a sex slave and have Stockholm Syndrome.

Nothing is coming between Joycelyn Savage and R. Kelly, at least not anytime soon.

No matter Occurred To That "Master Plan" To Elevate R. Kelly's Protection Cash?? It is very bad on many levels, and he does not deserve it. "I am not going to be a part of the assassination of R. Kelly's name, music career, and his character".

But the recent reports suggest that Savage has claimed that an impostor was behind an Instagram account and not her.

Griggs, the Savage family attorney, said in a statement they were "saddened and disappointed" that she had disavowed the posts as fake.

Azriel Clary, Robert's second girlfriend, was said to be by her side during the video but never appeared on camera. "How will we ever be able get a fair trial anywhere around the world with all these lies that are being told on him?" It's just really sad and I'm just heartbroken for all of this that's going on.

Later, Joycelyn hoped that Kelly, whom she described as "the best thing that ever happened to me and Azriel", could be released and return home in peace, before saying that she still regularly contacts the dishonored singer of R&B. For almost three years, Joycelyn Savage has not been able to speak outside of a controlled environment created by Mr. Kelly.

Patreon shut down the alleged Savage account after the company couldn't authenticate the owner's identify. "Her video today was not any different", Griggs said, according to TMZ.

On Nov. 22, an Instagram account purporting to belong to Savage and with the handle @joycelynsavage uploaded a post with the words, "There's something I need to reveal, something I should've talked about a long time ago".

Savage said she had nothing to do with Patreon, the platform that hosted multiple posts criticizing R. Kelly which appeared to come from Savage.
